One of the best Japanese green tea is said to be that from the Uji region of Kyoto. The Uji area has been producing Ujicha (Uji tea) for four hundred years and predates the prefectural system. Green tea was an important cultivation in the area. It was known to be promoted in Uji by a person named Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu (1358-1408). People there continued to produce high quality green tea over the years. Since then, Uji became very famous all over Japan that they even achieved the title as being an important distribution center of green tea in the country. Tea is every Japanese's way of life. In fact, it is a very important part of their activities that even to their most sacred ceremonies, tea is integral.

And that is what the tea house Uji wants : a brand to show how tea is important, how tea is precious. In response to this will the identity below has been designed to celebrate the tea as a jewelry with his japanese roots.
